Review: Nicky

Nicky Nicky by Lynn Burke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I adore Lynn Burke, as a person as well as an author. This new series of hers, Fallen Gliders, MC is one of my favorite series!

Okay, the first book, Nicky, showcased Nicky and Mel. Mel is a woman of the times, she’s confident and sure of herself, which I love! When Nicky and Mel get together, it’s volcanic! They are so hot, this May/December romance is one that you simply have to read. There is a big age difference, but truthfully you can’t “tell” the difference in how Nicky acts or reacts. There are places where it seems as if the age gap might be mentioned too much, but really, it’s nothing in the scheme of just how great this book was.

This was a fabulous short read that would be great to pass the time anywhere that you have a bit of a wait ahead of you.

Recommend.

Review: To Trust a Bear

To Trust a Bear To Trust a Bear by Emilia Hartley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was Morgan and Callie’s story. I loved Morgan in the past two books, and I was so happy to see his story finally come out. I adored Callie’s best friend, Amy, and just finished reading Dominic and Amy’s book a couple days ago. So good.
Okay, back to this story, though! It was all lying from her dad that tore them apart, it was very easy to see coming a mile away, but they didn’t see it and that was what made this story so intense, so good. I could feel the pain that Morgan was in, and even though I really loved this book I wasn’t all that excited about Callie and her behavior. I had several issues with this story, but it was good all the same.

Review: Cody (Book One)

Cody (Book One) Cody (Book One) by M.L. Briers
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I was very, very disappointed in this book. I had read all of these amazing reviews for this book and thought it was right up my alley! However, to be honest, I disliked Cody (His Mate; Brothers, #1), by M.L. Briers a great deal! She is the only author that I’ve ever read that has made the main characters in the story (mostly the women) horribly unlikable!!!
I don’t want to say this, but I *HATED* this book.
I couldn’t finish this book, it was that bad.

Review: Fire Breathing Beast

Fire Breathing Beast Fire Breathing Beast by Candace Ayers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was the first book I read by this author, and holy mackerel it won’t be the last!! This was an amazing read, funny and romantic all in the same wide swaths. Beast is everything that you would think that a dragon shifter would be, stuck in his ways is only one of the many things! Sky was the best woman that could ever be paired with him, she understood what strain and responsibility were and I think that made their connection even deeper.
This was a great story, and I have started to buy more of this author’s work.

Review: Fire Breathing Cezar

Fire Breathing Cezar Fire Breathing Cezar by Candace Ayers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Okay, let me tell you I was utterly fascinated by Cezar when I “met” him in the first book of this series, Beast.
This story was amazing and I had to go back and read it a second time because I wanted to revisit this couple once more. I think that Cherry was the best mate that there was possible for Cezar. She always felt frumpy, and like she didn’t deserve happiness and joy with someone as HOT as Cezar and he was ready and willing to show her that she was.
This was a thrilling read from cover to cover, and I can’t wait for more!

Review: The Missing

The Missing The Missing by Sara Anderson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have loved everything that Sara Anderson writes! From the first moment that I met her she’s been one of my “one click” authors and this book is just another reason why I’m so thankful to have her in my realm. The characters are rich, the emotion feels so real and not contrived and it makes me all sorts of happy to have been able to read this series.

Review: Divided

Divided Divided by Evangeline Anderson
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I enjoyed the first few books of this series, they have been typically awesome however... this seems to be a repeat of previous books and that makes me all sorts of sad. I know that my opinion isn't a popular one, however it is just that - *MY* opinion.
I fully believe that it's time for this series to end. :( (This makes me sad because I really have loved this series when it first started)

Review: Chromium Dragon

Chromium Dragon Chromium Dragon by Terry Bolryder
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I was very disappointed in this book. I enjoyed several of the books in this series but this one simply didn’t do it for me. I was very sad that Chromium didn’t get a better book, but it is what it is. This book felt rushed, in many ways and that bothered me a lot. I don’t know if her publisher was rushing her, or if she just was ready to move on to another book but it was just not the right thing to do with this character, he deserved better.
I was also very frustrated because not once was there a “Shift” with these dragon shifters!
I will continue to read this author because I think that she’s an incredible author and has typically always given amazing reads to her readers.

Review: Staking Their Claim [Whyr Desires]

Staking Their Claim [Whyr Desires] Staking Their Claim [Whyr Desires] by Rebecca Airies
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I'm so sorry, I wanted to like this book, but I don't. :( I will freely admit that if I had read any of the previous books (No idea what # this is in the series!) I might have liked it, but as is, I felt like I was missing SO MUCH of the story!
If you want to read this story - make sure that you READ the PREVIOUS books first!
I will tell you now I won't be reading the previous books. I sincerely dislike books that jump in as if I should know all of the players without any back story unless I read X amount of chapters first.
As I said, I wanted to like this but couldn't. I didn't finish this book.
I gave this 1 star because I'm sure that there are good points somewhere in the book. I can't give it a 0 star rating because I have to kind of blame myself as well since I didn't do my own due-diligence and checking to find out if this was a second book (or whatever number book!) in the series.

Review: Raynor

Raynor Raynor by Julia Mills
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book! Julia Mills and this new series are made of all sorts of awesome! Seriously, I loved this a great deal. It was emotional, I could practically *FEEL* the emotions and pain that the characters went through, I loved the connection between Raynor and Elizabeth. When Bannon and Raynor reunited I cried, that's impressive to be sure! Amazing series, fabulous story and great characters! I look forward to whatever comes next. <3
